Cafe Caribe has signed a long term lease to occupy 823 Market Street Mall in downtown Wilmington Delaware. The building was formerly occupied by Enzos Italian Restaurant for the past 15 years. Cafe Caribe will be taking over in June and after renovations, plan to open for busines in July of this year.

New Castle Dance Acadamy has signed a lease to occupy 3,200 square feet of retail space at Peoples Plaza Shopping center. This will be the their fourth location. New Castle Dance Acadamy is also located in The Smyrna Opera House in Smyrna Delaware, on Broad Street in Middletown, and Eden Square Sopping Center in Bear. According to Valerie Gooding President of New Castle Dance Acadamy.
We wanted a location to service the rapidly expanding population growth in the southern Newark area. Peoples Plaza had the ideal spot at the ideal time and we are looking forward to opening soon.
Rennovations are underway. New Castle Dance Acadamy plans to open this summer.

Deaton McCue is happy to announce the retirement of Patricia Darwicki, Comptroller. After 15 years of service at Deaton McCue, as well as an extensive career in accounting in the Real Estate business in Wilmington Delaware Pat has moved on to sunny Florida. Congratulations and thanks for all the good work!
Jessica Skolfield who has been with the company for three years is moving up and taking over the position. We look forward to her continued growth in the organization and wish her the best of luck.

Deaton McCue is pleased to announce more leasing activity at The Market Place in Middletown Delaware. Wilmington Trust has signed a long term ground lease for approximately one and a half acres of land. According to Steve Deaton of Deaton McCue and Company, who handled the transaction,' The bank will be building a new state of the art facility on the west side of the main entrance off of Route 299, also known as West Main Street' Construction should begin very soon.
In addition, Sleepys The Mattress Professionals, a bedding store chain having over 300 stores on the east coast, who are head-quartered New York, has signed a lease to occupy 3,200 square feet in the new addition to the shopping center just to the north of the existing Food Lion. Sleepys expects a Mid-April grand opening. This brings The Market Place Shopping Center to 100 % occupancy.

Deaton McCue and company is pleased to announce the following new leases for The Market Place. The Market Place is located at the intersection of 299 & 301 in Middletown, Delaware. The Liquor Exchange has signed a lease for five years and has located in the space formerly occupied by Everything A Dollar. Everything A Dollar has relocated into the new addition to the shopping center which was just constructed to the north of Food Lion. Everything A Dollar has leased 3,200 Square Feet. Also signing five year leases for 1,600 square feet stores, are A-2 Cleaners, T-Mobile, Angel Nails, Melessa's Beauty Shop, and Nationwide Insurance.
